“I want to make Jesus known.”
Here Beatrice tell her story.
Choosing to Follow a Calling
My name is Beatrice Oloo, and I come from Siaya County. While working in a hospital, I struggled to balance my job with a calling to full-time ministry. I eventually resigned to follow that calling, but I had no formal theological training. Then the opportunity came to attend Divine Providence Training Center.
My heart is to share the Word and love of God with my community. I have especially worked with women, widows and young girls. Together, we have formed a group called God’s Girls.
Passing the Knowledge On
We have started Bible training groups in my local church so I can share what I am learning and train others. Over the next five years, I want to expand this work into other communities and counties, equipping people to share God’s Word and love where they live.
EQUIPPED TO SERVE
Learning to lead and equipping others.
My training at DPTC is already changing how I serve. I am learning to lead and better serve the people in my community. I do not want that knowledge to stop with me. I want to share it with others so they can carry the ministry forward.
