Looking Forward: 2023 July Session and Alumni Conference

Paul NjugunaGreetings to all the friends of Divine Providence Training Center. We are at an exciting moment here in Kenya, The pastors are coming for the July session reporting to school thisSunday and we are looking forward to an engaging period over the next two weeks where the pastors will go through the four courses that we usually teach on every on-site session.

Sally Gresham and Lori McDonald will be coming over to interact with the Pastors in the second week of the school and then we have a very exciting moment taking place after the school. On Thursday all of us will be gathering down at Naivasha for the alumni conference.

We did want to really thank God for the opportunity to have the alumni conference take place because it was our longing and prayer that God would give us an opportunity to be able to meet with the classes that we graduated from 2010 coming all the way.

Right now we are having our seventh class that will be part of the alumni conference so after the school here on Th ay will all of us go down to Naivasha and then we’ll be there on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday till noon and the pastors will depart after lunch.

We really want to thank God for his provision that we are able to gather down at Naivasha as a DPTC family to be able to talk about the goodness of God to be able to reveal and hear stories of encouragement from our many many alumni spread across Kenya and hear what God has been doing through them after training here at DPTC.

We felt like the COVID period was a separation period. We haven’t been able to connect and so the alumni conference will offer a great opportunity for us to be able to reconnect with our alumni and hear stories of what God has been doing in their communities so you are welcome to pray with us and support us over this couple of activities that God will see us through and it will be an enjoyable moment to encourage the pastors as they continue to do the work of God’s Kingdom.

Blessings to everyone.
