Our mission is to equip African pastors of limited means to transform their communities for Christ throughout the African country of Kenya and beyond.

African Pastors Training Alliance (APTC) will accomplish its mission by providing financial and other means of support to Care to Learn International (CTLI), a Kenyan Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).  CTLI owns and operates Divine Providence Training Center (DPTC), a school in Kenya that provides free training to pastors from some of the country’s poorest communities, who would otherwise lack access to such education.  APTA and CTLI partner together to support operation of the school under a Support Agreement, outlining the following mutual goals and objectives:

  1. Capital Projects
    • to aid in building, improving, maintaining, or developing capital assets, including the cost of labor and professional services for operations, for the use and benefit of DPTC and its students
    • to move DPTC towards self-sufficiency through productive use of these assets
  1. School Quality Development Projects
    • to sustain the highest possible quality of pastor education at the school, expand the reach of the school to more students and their communities, and continue education and assistance for the school’s alumni
  1. Community Impact Projects
    • to positively impact the School’s greater community and enhance relationships among community leaders and the leaders of CTLI and DPTC
  1. Emergency Response Projects
    • to sustain the school and its facilities through unforeseen emergency circumstances
